Financing for your expansion into internatinal business is critical. Help for area businesses is available through several sources, but one of the best is the EDC affiliate Midwest Small Business Finance, which provides low-interest loans through the Small Business Administration's 504 Loan Program and other resources.

In financing international transactions, we also recommend businesses start with their bank’s international department to see if they are a designated lender for both Ex-Im Bank and SBA programs.

The U.S. Government offers four different types of financing programs: export development and working capital financing, facilities development financing, financing for your international buyers, and investment project financing.  For more information, please visit the financing section of export.gov.
